What this site is
A visualisation layer over publicly available observations and numerical weather models: METAR/TAF decoding, multi-model forecasts, the Kalynda statistical blend, meteograms, winds aloft and 3D profiles.
Known limitations
- Observations and forecasts come from third parties — NOAA/Aviation Weather Center, Open-Meteo and the model centres (ECMWF, GFS, ICON, GEM, Météo-France, UKMO). Any of them can be delayed, missing, corrupted or wrong.
- Data is fetched and cached on a schedule; a report shown as “latest” may already have been superseded.
- The Kalynda model is a statistical combination of model fields calibrated against nearby observations. It reduces average error; it does not remove uncertainty. Confidence and spread values shown are estimates, not guarantees.
- NOTAMs, SIGMETs/AIRMETs and aerodrome operational status are not fully represented.
Your obligations as a pilot
Before any flight, obtain a briefing from the aeronautical information service and the meteorological authority designated in your country's AIP (the ICAO Annex 3 / Doc 8896 providers — e.g. in Türkiye DHMİ AIM and MGM, in the US Flight Service/NWS, in the EU the national MET providers), and follow your operator's and your authority's procedures. File and fuel your flight using official sources only.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability or fitness for operational use.
Third-party data — accuracy cannot be verified
All meteorological and aerodrome data on this service is obtained from third-party sources (NOAA/AWC METAR–TAF feeds, Open-Meteo model data, OurAirports facility data and similar). We do not produce this data and cannot verify its accuracy; it may be delayed, incomplete or erroneous at the source. It is republished as received.
No liability for operational decisions
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kalynda accepts no liability for damages arising from dispatch, flight-planning, fuel, weather-avoidance or any in-flight decision made in reliance on this site. In an emergency follow ATC and your national emergency procedures — never a website.
